The Contribution of Cis- And Trans-Acting Variants to Gene Regulation in Wild and Domesticated Barley Under Cold Stress and Control Conditions
The exome capture samples are from hybrids between each accession from our panel and Morex. We have pre-existing exome capture and/or whole-genome shotgun data for all of the parents, but wanted DNA information from the hybrids in order to verify SNPs between parental DNA and RNA-seq samples. The sample names include a number and the accession name. All hybrids are between the named accession and Morex. DNA was harvested from 1-week old seedling tissue using the Qiagen DNeasy kit. DNA enriched using the barley exome capture platform was sequenced using 100 bp paired-end Illumina Hi-Seq sequencing
